Lynnderella - VamPink

Lynnderella VamPink, two coats layered over Picture Polish Vampire.  Both the polish names and the polish colours are a perfect match.

I definitely prefer VamPink over Very Pretty Vampire. I think it's the holo bits in VamPink that do it for me. They are both quite different polishes.  There are no red hexes in this and this ones doesn't seem as dark, probably from less black hexes.

Lynnderella - Undead Red

Lynnderella Undead Red has both matte and shiny red glitters in various shapes and sizes.  There is also iridescent blue glitters, which shine more purple because of the red base.

There are also quite a lot of pinkish medium sized hexes.  I'm not sure if they are meant to be red and have bled a bit, cause I can't see them on Lynnderella's swatches on her sticks or in her description. But looking at her bottle shot macro, I can see something like them. I dunno, either way, I liked the way this looked wearing it.

This is one coat of Undead Red layered over two coats of China Glaze Ruby Pumps.

I'm going to try and join in as much as I can with the Aussie Christmas Nail Challenge.  I know there are a stack of other challenges starting now, but like how this one is about our hot and summery Christmas with BBQs and pool parties, rather than snowflakes. I only just saw it on Aussie Nails, so I'm a day late starting, and I'm totally cheating using the above Undead Red mani I wore earlier this week as my mani for 1 December.

Lynnderella - Ghost of a Chance

Another day, another Lynnderella. I warned you I was on a run of wearing the Lynnderella polishes I received a few weeks ago.

Today's Lynnderella is Ghost of a Chance, and I can't tell you how much I love this. Actually yes I can, this is my blog, of course I can tell you how much I love this. I love it. A lot. I really, really love this A LOT!

I've layered two thin coats of Ghost of Chance over white.  This is so perfect over white because it shows the true colours of all the beautiful translucent satin pastel glitters.  There are pastel pink, blue, yellow, lavender and I'm sure there were green too, except I can't see any on these four fingers. There is also lots of translucent white glitter.  All the glitters are different shapes and sizes.  The pink ones are large squares, the blue ones are hexes and diamonds, the lavender and yellow ones are medium sized hexes.  The white ones, well the white ones are diamonds, squares, hexes and hearts.  Did I mention it also has a rainbow holographic dust throughout it which provides that extra ghostly sparkle *le sigh*.

This was just the most perfect pastel spring glitter EVER!! Can you see that translucent white heart just sitting there below that large blue hex, just sitting there quietly not making a big flashy show of itself. Nice!Ew, sorry, I just noticed that little hair on my nail in the macro - just pretend that's not there ok :)

Lynnderella - Once in a Blue Rune

Here is another blue Lynnderella.  I know, I really didn't need to buy this one, especially given that it replaces Bibbitty Bobbitty Boo Blue and Mademoiselle Violette de Bleu - which therefore means it will be quite similar to both those shades. Do I really need three similar blue Lynnderella's? Well no, but the collector in me just needed to have this polish, because a) it has a different name, b) it' blue and c) it's pretty. I know - I'm a lost cause!

Once in a Blue Rune is a violet-leaning blue with cobalt holographic glitters and a few sparkles of purple. The photos at the bottom are taken with artificial light, where I have attempted to capture some of the cobalt blue holographic sparkles.   This is one dabbled and one wiped coat of Once in a Blue Rune layered over Picture Polish Bombshell.

Hey, did I mention here yet that the Lynnderella ebay shop now ships to Canada, and "Worldwide shipping will be offered soon"  Seriously, it say's so on the Lynnderella blog.  It' pretty exciting to think that international ladies will be able to get Lynnderella's from the shop and not have to find friends to buy and mule their pretty drugs to them :)

Lynnderella - Night Shade

I really have been on a blue run of polishes lately, and I didn't even notice.  It was only when I was looking at my photos that realized that I chose to wear three blue Lynnderella polishes in a row.

Night Shade looks predominately navy blue, but it has an assorted mix of both various shades and sizes of blue glitters as well as black glitter.  What my photos don't show, is that all those small silver hexes are actually holographic.  My pictures look monochromatic, whereas in real life its quite colourful and very sparkly.  I also thought there were some stray red glitters in my polish, but when I checked on the polish description on the Lynnderella blog I noticed it mentions 'red eyes in a dark forest'.  In the end I think I got one red eye on both my index and pinky, and two on my ring finger.

This is one dabbled coat and one thin wiped coat of Night Shade, layered over Zoya Storm.  Topped with a couple of layers of top coat to make it smooth and glossy, all on a PVC glue base coat.

I also love the name of this polish. Night Shade.  It brings back childhood memories for me from the mid 1980's, of mum and my older brothers sitting around our Commodore 128 playing Ultima IV: Quest of the Avatar. I was too little to play, but I remember it vividly. You had to find Nightshade to make spells, at least that's what I remember. Check this out, it was state of the art gaming!

Lynnderella - The Stars in Her Eyes

Lynnderella recently launched her Seasons Glitterings collection, but I've just got the Early Halloween Resurrected polishes (well some of them, not the reformulated ones of existing shades).

The Stars in Her Eyes was the first polish I chose to wear from the collection.  Oh I could really gush and oooooohhhhh and arrrhhhhh about this polish cause I just love the look of it so much.  I have layered just one coat of The Stars in Her Eyes over regular black creme. I DIE!

All the stars are silver holo, both the regular sized ones and the adorable itty bitty ones.  There is some holo glitter in this too, cause you can see the rainbow of colours in the bottom photos. There are also those stunning rich blue irridescent glitters, which when worn over white they look yellow, but over dark colours they glow. Plus a whole bunch of other stuff that I can't pin point exactly what they are - actually I know exactly what they are, they are PRETTY!!

This is like galaxy nails in a bottle.

Just like Katherine over at the Manicure Addict, I've been wearing a lot of Lynnderella manicures (or Lynnicures) lately. So up front apologies now to anyone that doesn't get pleasure from seeing the pretties, there will be many more Lynnderella blog posts to come.

Lynnderella - Glass Houses

Hello and bye bye. A real quick post today cause we heading to the baseball tonight, and a baseball home game means orange nails.

Here is two coats of Lynnderella Glass Houses layered over Ulta3 Burnt Orange.  This one dried a little gritty, so it needed a few coats of top coat to make it nice an smooth. Lots of orange glitters, a little bit of yellow/gold glitters and some purple glitters too.  Orange and purple are so perfect with each other.

Now just need to add a picture of this to my Lynnderella colour guide then we're out the door.

Lynnderella - 50 Shades of May-be

Just a quick NOTD today.  I'm heading off for a short break and need to finish packing.

Lynnderella 50 Shades of May-Be has black, white and various grey shades in between, in squares and hexes.  There are also some fine glitters and black and white bars, but it looks like I didn't get any bars on my four photographed nails.

Wow, I only have one Lynnderella polish left from the Sweet Somethings collection to show you. But fear not, I just received the Halloween shades so I still have plenty of Lynnderella's to continue to share.

Lynnderella - Deep Blue Seeing

Lynnderella - Deep Blue Seeing. Beautiful blue jewel tones in slightly differing cyan shades.

Two coats layered of OPI DS Fantasy.

This polish matches the colour and sparkle of our pool.  Our pool shell is made of fibreglass and it has flecks of silver and cyan micro glitter embedded into the surface to really make the water sparkle.  I wish our pool had large bits of glitter in it like this!

A bit of a shrinkage wrinkle in the macro, but I never noticed it in real life.  I'm not surprised though, I think I was wearing Glitter Tamer, Ulta3 non-chip and Seche Vite.

In other news.... WINNERS

I've also just confirmed that the winning enteries for the giveaway were valid, so congrations to the following winners who I have just emailed.

Lynnderella - When the moon was a star

I wore this polish earlier this week.  I wasn't as switched on as Steffels who thought to wear this polish for the recent blue moon, but after seeing her swatch I realized that I had yet to wear mine, so I promptly pulled it out and put it on.

This is two wiped coats, with some brush placement of the special moon and star glitters.  I layered it over OPI DS Fantasy and topped it with three layers over top coat - Ulta3 non-chip, Glitter Tamer and Seche Vite.

The large silver hexes and the moons and stars are all holo, then there are various shades of blue glitter in a multitude of sizes.  The hard glitters to see are the little fine ones, which are purple, aqua and silver holo, which really twinkle like the night sky.

I love this polish. There enough of the special glitters that you will get something on each nail, whether it be a moon, a large star or one of the iddy bitty stars.

Lynnderella polishes are available on ebay through the Lynnderella-Lynnderella shop.  There are generally many more polishes available these days, especially Buy It Nows where you can pick 4, 5, 6 etc polishes out of about 30.  Of course shipping is only to the USA, so make sure you find an American buddy who can buy and ship to you!
