Blue Monday, Claire's Chunky Blue

By rmcandlelight Chunky Blue

Blue Monday by Annie Lee

Good Morning "Nailbeautiquers", It's Monday again and I have another awesome blue to show you.  It's Claire's Chunky Blue.  I'm sure you've seen this one, but not on me.  I love it!  It's so vivid and breath taking. The hexagon glitter is not sparse on the nail as you can see. It's also packed full of blue fine glitter in a royal blue base.  I used  3 coats  to spread evenly. Then sealed the deal with 1 coat of Revlon Colorstay topcoat to make my mani super shiny!

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠) Share/Bookmark

Blue Monday, A Blue Design

'Blue'

Right after my swatch of Chanel Riva and  Hard Candy Sky I wanted to do something before I took it off.  I pulled out China glaze FrostBite and decided to give the tape method a try.  Scotch tape didn't work for me the first time I tried so I pulled out my blue painters tape.  Hey, its blue have to try it right.  I taped it off and painted on FrostBite then applied SV topcoat.  Let that dry for about 10 minutes then whipped out my konad set and used plate M62 and special konad polish white.   That wasn't enough so I pulled out L.A. Colors Art Deco black nail art lacquer and randomly placed it on the konad design.  Hope you like it *-*

FrostBite is so gorgeous I need to do a full mani with it.

Blue Monday, Blue Lightning Bolt...Watchout Now!

'Frankening'

Blue Monday  By Annie Lee

Good Morning on this Blue Monday, It's back to wooorrk!  I have been lemming Essie's Starry Starry Night for a very long time.  My hope is still alive.  One day she will be mind.

Essie Starry Starry Night

But, in the mean time I frankened my very own. Her name is 'Blue Lightning Bolt'

This picture is too bright

I used a blue/silver fine pigment glitter.  Don't remember where I got it from but it is super super gorgeous.  I filled the bottle with some clear polish and dumped in the glitter.  Added about 10 drops of Maybelline's Twinkle Twinkle.  Then I added about 5 drops of SH Nail Prism: Burgundy Orchid which is a purple/burgundy duochrome.  Sure can't tell I added it in there but, when I hold the bottle up to the light I can see just a hint of purple...maybe.

It is a jelly too!  After applying the 2nd coat didn't seem too jelly.  Maybe I should add more clear.
I love it so much!  I'm very well pleased *-*

Looks pretty close huh...
I'm looking at this picture and my nails look so long.  Not! My nail tips are just peeking over my nailbeds.  Macro sure can be deceiving sometimes.

See the underside of my nails not long at all

So, How did I do?  Is it close to Starry Starry Night?  You be the judge.  I had lots of fun making Blue Lightning Bolt.

Until next time please have a great nail polish day. (✿◠‿◠) Share/Bookmark
